Purpose and Authorization for Data Processing
The project aims to improve teaching methodologies and learning modalities. The data collected will be necessary to design and offer an educational program based on the concept of personalized learning. Through a pre-assessment of your digital skills and a psychological (via questionnaires) and physiological (via wearable sensors) characterization, your individual learning model will be defined, tailored specifically to you, along with your personalized study plan. All collected data will be processed for scientific research purposes and on the basis of your explicit consent (Articles 6(a), 9(a), and 9(j) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679). Your consent is not mandatory; however, it is a necessary condition for the processing of your data, without which participation in the project will not be possible.

Data Communication and Disclosure
Your data will be communicated exclusively to the project partners, who are joint data controllers, as indicated in the relevant section (“Data Controller Contact Details”). Only aggregated and anonymized data will be made available to the scientific community after the conclusion of the project.

Transfer of Data Outside the EU

Processing Methods and Security Measures
Your personal data will be processed in compliance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, relevance, and data minimization by personnel duly instructed on the security measures to be adopted and subject to constant supervision by the Data Controller.

Data Retention Period
The collected data will be stored for the time necessary to carry out the project (4 years) and for an additional 3 years following its conclusion, in order to allow for the publication and presentation of the results in scientific journals and events. Therefore, the data will be retained for a total period of 7 years from the start date of data collection. After this period, the data will be fully anonymized and deleted.

- Access your data;
- Request restriction of processing (the data will be retained but not used);
- Request rectification of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data;

Participation in the project and the consequent processing of your data are possible only on the basis of your explicit consent, which may be withdrawn at any time without the need to provide any justification. The processing of data carried out up to the time of withdrawal will remain lawful. Withdrawal of consent will result in the removal of all personal data relating to you.

If you believe that the processing of your personal data is carried out in a manner that does not comply with data protection regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali) or to take legal action pursuant to Articles 77 and 79 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
Summary
DIGI-ME Personalized service through Health360 platform
Full policy
The DIGI-ME project utilizes the study plan customization service offered by the Health360 platform, a project developed by IFC-CNR.
This personalization is achieved through recommendations regarding study paths, course content, and available educational activities, as well as how it is most convenient or appropriate for you to engage with them. These recommendations will be based on data collected directly from you—through questionnaires and any physiological measurements—as well as on your learning data stored on this Moodle platform, which will therefore need to be shared with the H360 platform.
Specifically, the data to be shared—and for which your authorization is required—are:
- educational profile data (e.g., institution, year of enrollment, areas of interest/skills);
- the courses in which you are enrolled;
- progress and results data (progress in activities, assessments, course completion);
- notifications related to your program.
Your login credentials will not be shared.
This data, along with the information you provide directly when accessing the H360 platform, will be processed in accordance with the procedures outlined here: https://app.ingene.eu/h360.
Your consent to the transfer is required to access the H360 platform and use the personalization service. However, if you decide not to use this service, you can still continue to access the DIGI-ME Moodle platform for all other services provided by the project and, if necessary, change your selection by going to the “Your Profile” > “More Details” > “Policies and Agreements” section.
